CN Cycle for CHEO - a fundraiser to help kids with cancer - May 6, 2012.

The annual CN Cycle for CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) will be taking place Sunday, May 6, 2012. This is the hospital’s largest pediatric cancer fundraising event, and it attracts a large turn out.

The actual ride is a non-competitive event that offers a wide range of cycling (15K, 35K, 70K) and walking (2K, 5K) routes for people of all ages and abilities. The routes are fully supported and closed to traffic. All events begin and end at the Canadian War Museum and there will be  post-event activities taking place on the adjacent grounds at LeBreton Flats.

People participating in the fundraising event may also be eligible to win some interesting prizes, including a Ford Fiesta, airline tickets from Air Canada, and various gift-cards and T-shirts from Tommy & Lefebvre.
